There is a reason why I am only doing one tea party class this year and that is because they are so much work! It was so much fun and adding the food component to the class makes it extra special. Here is what we had at our class so you can recreate the night or try a recipe for yourself. <\/p>

Dried basil<\/p> Salt and pepper to taste<\/p> Homemade Croutons<\/strong>:<\/em><\/p> Sourdough (this is the one I always use<\/a>)<\/p> Olive Oil<\/p> Garlic Salt<\/p> Cube bread and toss everything together and bake at 400 until crisp <\/p> <\/p> Hummus<\/em><\/strong><\/p> 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas <\/p> Lemon juice from one large lemon <\/p> 1\/4 cup tahini<\/p> 1 garlic clove<\/p> \u00bc C Olive oil <\/p> 1\/2 t. ground cumin<\/p> 1-2 t. Mild curry powder<\/p> Salt to taste<\/p> Mix in food processor until smooth<\/p> <\/p> Cucumber and Avocado Sandwich<\/strong><\/em><\/p> Homemade Sourdough toasted <\/p> Mashed avocado with Redmond’s salt\u00a0<\/p> English Cucumber<\/p> <\/p> Lemon and Pistachio Scones<\/em><\/strong><\/p> I used this recipe <\/a>and added lemon zest to the dough, used normal sugar which is why mine were lighter in color and then added more pistachios on top of glaze <\/p> <\/p> Orange and Rose Shortbread cookies<\/em><\/strong><\/p>
